What makes it loose leaf
A tea bag holds the fragments left over once whole leaves have been sorted. Loose leaf keeps the leaf intact, so it opens slowly in the water and gives up its flavour in layers rather than all at once. You can steep a good leaf more than once, and the second cup often tells you something the first one didn't.
Every pouch is 50g — roughly twenty generous cups. Brew it in a pot, a mesh strainer or a disposable brew bag; you don't need special equipment to get it right.
